Summary:

Are you passionate about Toronto’s natural environment and want to share that passion with others? Volunteer as a Nature Ambassador! Ambassadors interpret and animate the natural features of the park and its surrounding parkland. As a volunteer you will: Educate park users on the history and ecology of this unique restoration site Meet new people and improve your communication skills Distribute environmental education materials encourage sustainable use of our sensitive natural areas Attend parks tours to enrich your knowledge Acquire documented volunteer hours (if requested) Sessions are supervised by City staff. All materials are provided, and no experience is required.

How To Apply:

Sign up to attend one of the upcoming virtual orientation sessions to qualify to participate in the 2023 program. Thursday, June 1, 2023 from 6 to 7 p.m. (opens in new window) Friday, June 2, 2023 from noon to 1 p.m. (opens in new window)
