Short Summary:Evergreen's Garden Circle Team
Summary:Participants in Evergreen’s Regenerative Landscapes programs give back to the Brick Works site via hands on gardening and landscaping work. Garden Circle volunteers work alongside experts in horticulture, urban agriculture, restoration and ecology expanding their skills and knowledge in these areas through direct hands-on experiences. Volunteers in this program can take pride in helping nature flourish while creating connections with their community, and expanding their understanding of how to support regenerative landscapes that benefit all.
Volunteer Role: Criteria: Location:Garden Circle shifts are scheduled to take place 2x each week at Evergreen Brick Works (550 Bayview Avenue.) Garden Circle will launch the week of May 9th and continue on into the fall. Shifts will take place each week on: Tuesday mornings from 10am to 12pm Thursday evenings from 5pm to 7pm Shifts will be open to 20-25 volunteers. Volunteers will sign-up for shifts on a first come-first served basis. Due to limited spaces, volunteers are asked to remove themselves from schedules if their availability changes to make space for other volunteers.
