Summary:

Gallery Volunteers are integral to Assembly Hall’s creative projects and community engagement. Applications are accepted at any time but are reviewed annually on August 1.

Volunteer Role:

Criteria:

Although no one individual is required to meet every item on this list, the following criteria will be used to select new members who can best serve the needs of the working groups: Awareness of Assembly Hall programs, goals and objectives Demonstrate an interest and knowledge of the South Etobicoke community Willing and able to devote the required time to Assembly Hall committee meetings and special initiatives Commitment to providing accessible experiences for all Demonstrate good listening skills, open-mindedness, sound judgement and tact Specific expertise in one or more of the following skills/areas of interest: Visual and/or performing arts Community engagement Cultural programming Advocacy Volunteer development Knowledge of diverse arts and cultural practices
